The Green Batti Project
The Green Batti Project is a one-on-one mentoring program which pairs educated professionals (between the ages of 25 and 40) with youth from under resourced communities. Through a structured and activity-based curriculum it imparts important life and social skills such as goal setting, problem solving, effective communication, financial literacy and critical thinking.
Along with the team of Green Batti we co-created the curriculum for cycle 1 (12 sessions) of the mentorship program. This collaboration helped us provide our method of experiential learning to 500 mentors who impacted 500 mentees.
The collaboration also included creating a bank of life lessons from the different stories shared by the 500 mentor-mentee pairs and amplifying the same on social media.
