ZendaBosheyn - Long life to you
In the summer of 2015, in collaboration with the teachers and students at the Afghanistan Youth House (AYH), an educational institution based in Kabul, we started conducting FUEL workshops on Skype. The exchange of life lessons over the 6-month-long project was full of epiphanies, “Aha”s and never-thought-of-it-that-way-before moments.
Unfortunately, in December 2015, the AYH shut down due to threats from the Taliban. We cherish the wisdom gathered across borders through our collaboration with them. True to the meaning of the phrase "ZendaBosheyn", which is an Afghani prayer that means "long life to you", Project FUEL ensures that life lessons from the students of AYH travel far and wide and hence, live long. Below are lessons from some of the students we had the privilege to teach.
