A Book in Her Hands

The Maasai Tribe traditionally raises its girls to become mothers; however, Christina's story of her educational journey is a deviation from this stereotype. She is proud of her current role as a teacher and wishes to provide education to every girl in her community in order to uplift her society. Following her, Raheli, who has finished her primary schooling, imparts her wisdom on the importance of education.
