We agree with Mary Lou Kownacki who said, "Frankly, there isn't anyone you couldn’t learn to love once you’ve heard their story."
Through the FUEL Fellowship we aim to build a cohort of passionate individuals and storytellers, who believe in the power of human wisdom. Individuals who intend to celebrate experiences by honing the art of teaching life lessons with our unique methodology.
Project FUEL is a life lessons education initiative. FUEL stands for Forward the Understanding of Every Life Lesson. We document, design and pass on life lessons of people from all ages and backgrounds across the world through interactive and performance based curriculums and art-inspired projects. We believe every life has something to teach. At FUEL, life lessons are continuously collected, documented, and thought about deeply. From victims of human trafficking in Nepal to middle school children in Afghanistan to refugees in Europe to abandoned ghost villages in Uttarakhand, we have had the privilege to take life lessons all the way to the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
In our long drawn endeavour of documenting and distributing life lessons we note a distinct commonality- that most life lessons come out of hard knocks or experiences of adversity. In the process of helping people open up and reflect on testing times in their life, we have built and polished a beautiful approach- one that makes people feel safe and powerful when sharing and addressing their vulnerabilities. Through the fellowship we are planning to share and extend this humbling journey to make each life count by facilitating the exchange of these enriching perspectives.
